Around 2 weeks ago I forgot to set my alarm and ended up waking 30 mins later than I’d wanted. I’ve been called into work multiple times since it happened and have not gone in, nor have I returned their calls. I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to unofficially quit to avoid sheer embarrassment.
Honestly if I was caught by a friend or even a completely random stranger I wouldn’t have been as concerned and could easily have laughed it off.
