I’ll share a funny but great story that developed into a weekly tradition for us from about 15yrs ago.

We are late 40s now, so I was about 30 back then…

One Sunday my husband had an absolutely awful day. One of those days that you just quit and go have a cocktail. You blowoff errands and chores and just quit the day.

So I dressed up in a short cocktail dress and we went to our favorite spot. We had a couple cocktails and he was able to relax…pretty standard stuff. During dinner I revisited that convo in my mind and eventually said to myself “why not? I’m sure it would make his day and I’ll have some fun too”. (I like doing it)

So I turned to him and said “so…why the 30min? Why that length of time?” - His answer was surprising (to me) and simple - he said “because I get anxiety that it’s going to end so I just want to know you’ll stay down there no matter what, so I can relax and enjoy it without worrying about cumming and ending the blowjob”.

I didn’t know he dealt with that. So I replied “wait - so if I promise to stay there a long time or do a second one or something then that’ll make your BJs better?” Obviously he stated “yes”.

So - from that Sunday on…I give him either a really long BJ or I give him 2 in a row every single Sunday, without fail. It’s my way of saying I love you, and my way of thanking him for the many things he does for me. There’s been VERY FEW exceptions to Sundays since then. I even bought a chair for our bedroom just for it.

And it’s got some perks. It makes our Saturday nights more fun. Because he knows “tomorrow is his day”. So I can always tell he’s going way out of his way during sex on Saturdays. Also, generally sometimes after lunch on Sundays I see his mood getting bright and happy and he starts teasing and being playful (more than normal). It’s been such a great addition to our marriage. His Monday mornings even changed. It makes me feel like a super wife sometimes.
